Career & Civic Engagement Center Summer Funding Application Form
SUMMER 2020 PARTNER INTERNSHIPS
Thank you for your interest in Career and Civic Engagement Summer Funding Partner Internships for Summer 2020!
The Center partners with organizations to offer paid summer internships to Bryn Mawr students. These opportunities are developed in strong partnership between the College and the organization. First-years, sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply, unless the organization has listed more specific requirements.
Please note that most of the funds for the partnership internships come from the Center. Therefore, the funding award will be taxed as is standard for any form of income, which is typically up to 20%. (For example, the standard the funding award is $4,000, so the actual amount disbursed to you will be closer to $3200). The summer work experience is the foundation for your own personal development related to your future academic and professional goals. There are a few exceptions where the host organizations provide the funding, however, similar taxing would still exist. Selected students for the Partner Internships will partake in the Beyond Bryn Mawr Summer Internship Program.
A complete application includes:
1. This Career & Civic Engagement Center Summer Funding Application Form
2. A resume and cover letter submitted for each opportunity through Handshake unless otherwise listed below. (search "Partner Internship" in Handshake to find the listing for each opportunity).
3. Some Partner Internships will ask for an additional online application on their website. Please follow instructions for the specific opportunity to which you are applying.
